Full House
Delete your account
You can delete your Full House account and personal data at any time. Here is how, and exactly what happens to your data.
Creators: delete in the app
The fastest way is right inside the app:
- Open the app and go to Profile, then Settings.
- Tap Pause or delete your account, then Delete my account, and confirm.
If we owe you money, the screen shows how much before anything happens. Withdraw it first from Earnings, or tick the box to give it up and delete. Nothing is given up without that tick. A withdrawal you asked for that has not gone yet is cancelled if you give your money up, and one already on its way to your bank has to land before you can delete.
If we closed your account and we still owe you money, the app shows how much, with a way to Earnings to withdraw it. Then delete from the same screen; anything you cannot withdraw yet is given up only if you tick the box.
That runs the deletion immediately and signs you out. There is no waiting period and no hidden step.
Restaurants: in the app or on the website
- In the app, go to Account, tap Close account and confirm.
- On the website, sign in to your dashboard, open Account, choose Close my account and confirm.
That removes you straight away and signs you out: your login, your place on the venue, your notifications and your push registrations all go.
If you are the last person on your venue, closing your account also stops its plan that day, with no money back for time already paid, and cancels its tables still to come; we tell each creator. If others are on your venue, the venue and its plan carry on for them.
Still signing up?
If you have started an application and not finished it, neither route above is open to you yet: a Profile tab and an Account tab only appear once you are in. Use the three dots in the top corner of any step instead, and choose Delete my account. On this website the same choice sits at the bottom of your application status page. It removes everything you have sent us so far, including anything you uploaded, and there is nothing left to finish.
Prefer email instead? (anyone)
Whichever kind of account you have, you can email nick@viralcow.com with the subject Delete my account and the email address on your account. We will verify it is you and complete the deletion, normally within a few days.
What gets deleted: creators
- Your name, email address, phone number, social handles, the postcode you gave us to join, the areas you said you can reach, your home area and location, availability, dietary requirements, the food you cover, and your referral details.
- Your profile photograph, deleted from our public image storage.
- Your sign in, so you can no longer log in.
- Your push token and your notification preferences.
- Your Stripe payout account: we close it with Stripe and delete our link to it.
- Your push delivery records, and any record that an email to you bounced or that you unsubscribed.
- Anything we recorded about you privately: your fit scores, the reasoning behind an invitation, any note written about your work, and our records of reading your public social profile.
- Your four digit door code, released so it can be issued to somebody else.
- If you signed in with Apple and delete in the iPhone app, we also ask Apple to disconnect Full House from your Apple ID.
What gets deleted: restaurants
- Your sign in, so you can no longer log in.
- Your place on the venue.
- Your push token and your notification preferences.
- Your email address in our mail records, and the original enquiry you sent us when you first got in touch.
- When the last person leaves a venue, the venue’s contact name, email address, phone number and notes are cleared too. The venue itself stays, because other people may still work there and a venue is shared business data.
- If you signed in with Apple and delete in the iPhone app, we also ask Apple to disconnect Full House from your Apple ID.
What we keep, and why
The films you posted stay, and here is the honest version. A restaurant paid for the content you made for it, so it keeps that content, credited to “Deleted creator” rather than to you, with their view counts. Those films live on your own Instagram or TikTok channel and the link we hold still points there, so somebody who follows it arrives at your public profile. If you want that link gone, take the post down on the platform it lives on, or email us and we will remove the link.
The visits and offers stay, so a restaurant keeps a straight record of its own months. They no longer carry your name.
Money records stay for 6 years after the end of the financial year (ours ends on 31 March) of your last earning or withdrawal, because UK tax law requires us to keep them: what each of your films earned, your withdrawals, anything you gave up, and your tax details. Any notes on them are blanked. Restaurants’ invoices stay for the same reason.
Safety records stay for 6 years. If somebody reported you or your venue, or we made a moderation decision about you, we keep that report and decision for 6 years after the account, or the venue, it is about is deleted, then delete them. A complaints record that disappears when the person it is about deletes their account would not be a complaints record.
